Dr Khai Yang Ooi MBBS FRACP
Dr Ooi is a young, friendly and eager nephrologist who has had experience in general, dialysis and transplant nephrology. He is a Monash University graduate and his nephrology training has predominantly been through The Alfred and Western Hospitals.
He has particular interests in the management of chronic kidney disease in the community setting, as well as interests with peri-operative medicine in which he is currently undertaking a Masters of Perioperative Medicine.
He is currently a staff specialist at Western Health and has additional consulting rooms in Warragul. He has admitting rights to the Epworth Hospital in Richmond and is part of the General Medicine Unit at Cabrini Hospital in Malvern.
Dr Ooi welcomes any invitation to be involved in the health care of patients with renal issues, as well as those with general medical or peri-operative issues. He recognises the importance of open communication and dialogue and always strives to provide a holistic and professional level of care.
